Les Baugh for Supervisor

Les and his wife Susie have raised three wonderful children, Jennifer, Melissa and Matt, in Anderson. They live in one of Shasta County’s oldest and lovingly restored homes, "Bedford House", circa 1872, built by James Bedford.

In addition to his service on the Anderson City Council, Les is Pastor at Anderson Community Church, where he and his wife serve together reaching out to the local community. Les and Susie own and operate "Bah Humbugs, Event Décor Professionals" together, producing award winning events, exhibits and displays throughout northern California. Along with their daughter Melissa, the Baugh's also own and operate "M", a "Refreshing New Gift Store" in Redding, California.

Les has served as an Anderson Planning Commissioner, Anderson Fire Protection District Board Member, Anderson Chamber President, Shasta County Local Agency Formation Commission Member and on various community boards. He currently serves on the Mercy Medical Center Advisory Board and as Council liaison for the Southwest Redevelopment District.

So when I'm asked why I serve the citizens of Shasta County, I share that it is to encourage a strong sense of community, to strengthen families, to grow relationships. I serve because I value the people that live, work and play in our county, this place we proudly call home."
